International Paradise is a Colorado based private company that serves clientele in the Colorado and International markets buying and selling real estate.  Our International focus currently includes Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica and the USA.  Our highly experienced professional team has years of experience in real estate transactions, including contracts, loans, sales, marketing, finance and management.  We pride ourselves in delivering top notch, professional services to ensure the smoothest transaction possible.   International Paradise provides many different programs to fit specific needs for clients, along with unique programs that get the best results.

Michele Garbus has over a quarter century of experience in all areas of real estate, mortgage and business development. As a talented strategist, Michele has helped many individuals and corporations see the “big picture” of their goals, and pinpoint practical tactics to help them get there. As an experienced real estate investor, she applies her strategic planning skills to help her clients achieve the high returns and real estate solutions they desire. She does this by not only spending time with her clients, selecting the best solution for their needs, but also talking and planning with them about their financial strategies and goals for the future. In this way, she has built a remarkable record of providing her clients with the best of care and safety on their investments with on-site partners.

David Garbus has been a real estate investor since 1999. He started his real estate career by providing funding and credit in partnership with the former president of the Colorado Association of Real Estate Investors in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Dave also had the privilege of a long military career of 25 years.  He served both on active duty, and the last 20 years of service with the Army National Guard, where he spent 10 years with Aco 5th Bn 19th SFG(A),five years with 135th Aviation Bn and five years with the 193rd Space Support Bn. His diverse military experience and extensive world deployments provides International Paradise a unique and candid analysis of global security and country assessment  that gives a rational view of safety that you can’t get from reading a book or listening to the evening news.  Dave’s strong ability for analysis, project planning, IT support and the ability to examine situations from multiple angles, has provided his companies with properties that have yielded multiple streams of income. 

In 2006, Michele went into partnership with Dave, before they were married late in 2008, where they started a real estate investing company that has bought and sold properties both domestically and internationally. As you’d expect, purchasing real estate in Latin America is different from buying on North American soil. Michele and Dave started International Paradise to help clients turn their dreams into reality by helping them navigate the path smoothly and successfully.  International Paradise knows all the ins and outs of how things are done in the best retirement countries. We’ll walk you through each step, making sure you understand exactly what to expect at every turn.

Field Partners:

Faurest Montenegro – Was born in Mexico City and has been in the Puerto Vallarta area since 1978. Following in his fathers footsteps, he studied business at University of Miami and pursued his career in land development in Nayarit, Mexico.  As the Owner of his own development and construction firm and the primary field partner he has cultivated many close working relationships with local, city, state, and federal government officials enabling him to streamline the land improvement process. Currently his firm is working on four new developments in San Francisco representing over 75 million dollars of market share with an investor portfolio of over a quarter billion in funds. Faurest is also the front runner in the area working on supporting the local municipality with funds and expertise to improve the area, protect the eco-system and sustain future growth.

Erik James Logerquist – Has been fortunate to have had many international experiences leading up to his time living in Mexico and with our company. Drawing from previous work in economic development in the USA, marketing in France, and advertising in Spain, the adjustment to Mexico has been smooth and blessed with success. In addition to being tri-lingual, Erik has degrees in International Business, Global Management and Commerce, French, and Spanish from universities in three countries.
